Quality Control
Startech Precision upholds a "Zero-Defect" philosophy through a fully integrated quality management system. Following ISO 9001 standards, we establish documented procedures and risk control mechanisms with multi-stage inspections β IQC β IPQC β FQC / OQC β to ensure product consistency and reliability.
On the raw material side, incoming inspections, Certificates of Analysis (CoA), and supplier audits are implemented to guarantee stability and traceability. During manufacturing, we adopt SPC control charts, MSA/GR&R measurement system analysis, First Article Inspection (FAI), and Engineering Change Notice (ECN) processes. Key product characteristics such as outer diameter, tolerance, concentricity, cutting edge quality, and surface roughness are statistically monitored with Cpk capability tracking.
Tool geometry, coating adhesion, and service life are regularly verified through periodic validation and destructive sampling tests. Measurement instruments β including laser micrometers, projectors, and roundness testers β are periodically calibrated per metrology standards and traceable to international references. Every product batch is fully traceable with documented lot numbers, process records, and quality reports, and we provide customized inspection criteria (e.g., concentricity, diameter tolerance, surface finish).
All products comply with RoHS, REACH, and Conflict-Free Minerals requirements. In the event of nonconformity, we execute 8D Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) and cross-departmental root cause analysis to ensure continuous improvement and stable quality consistency β delivering verifiable, traceable, and quantifiable high-reliability tools and equipment to our customers.
